Artificial Intelligence

Future wearables & objects

Using any combination of AI design tools — such as text-to-image, AI search, conversation tools, and generative AI — entrants are challenged to design and depict how we will be wearing, using and creating objects in the future.

Through the use of Artificial Intelligence, create design ideas for future wearables and objects with a regard for how they could be produced or manufactured. This can be silversmithing at any scale, small work, jewellery, body ornament or useful objects.

Entrants must submit two high-resolution images of their future design showing how it could be worn or displayed, and a minimum 200-word supporting statement about their design concept, its inspiration and who it's for. Along with a suggestion of the tools and processes that could be used to achieve a manufactured outcome.

Examples of AI tools that entrants can use include Runway, Stable Diffusion, Chat GPT, Midjourney, etc.
