The eligibility for submission of work to the awards requires applicants to be based and working within the United Kingdom and who are engaged in designing or working with precious metals, gemstones and other allied materials.
Work submitted to the competition needs to have been completed in the UK within 12 months preceding the closing dates for entries.
For the purposes of these Awards and in order to judge entries fairly individuals are categorised as Senior and Junior entrants in the craft sections of the competition.
To this end all those undergoing training on a recognised full or part time course of study or as an apprentice up until the date of submitting work into the competition, are classified as ‘Junior’.
All entrants over the age of 30 on 1st of February are classified as ‘Senior’. There is no upper age limit.
