We welcome back Weston Beamor and Domino Jewellery as Named Award Patrons to this ever-popular competition category where entries that demonstrate innovation in creative design and/or manufacture are recognised.

This year all judging panels from the appropriate 3D sections will put forward relevant and worthy entries for being judged by a dedicated panel of industry experts for Creative Innovation.  

Requirements

Entrants to this section MUST identify and list ALL methods, techniques and appropriate technologies employed in the manufacture of their entry.

Judges will be looking for: 

  • A proficient and clever or inventive use of tools, equipment, machinery and/or technology in a different, challenging or ground-breaking manner that informs the overall design of the piece. 

  • Technical challenge and achievement

  • Skill, craftsmanship and quality outcome
