The Brief
The world is full of art and imagery depicting events, communicating ideas, sharing experiences, challenging situations and powering our imagination. Whether abstract or realistic, ancient or modern, colourful or monotone, there are creative artists to inspire and engage each and every one of us.
You are challenged to select an image or an artist’s work and embark on a flight of fancy to design a piece of body adornment from this inspiration.
There are no barriers to materials or scale of the piece, but the influence of your chosen image/artist should be recognisable and included within your design board. The final design does not have to be manufacturable, but a small semblance of reality should be retained for the sake of credibility.
You are encouraged to research in depth, think out-of-the-box & stretch your imagination to the bounds.
Your design concept must be compelling and well presented.
