Fine Commercial Jewellery 2D
Sponsored by Beaverbrooks
This 2D Fine Commercial Jewellery section looks for contemporary and commercially viable items of fine jewellery suitable for manufacture in precious metals and gemstones.
We are delighted to be partnering with Beaverbrooks once again as Special Patrons. Beaverbrooks are an award-winning diamond, jewellery and watch retailer with 89 group stores nationwide. As a commercial jewellery retailer, Beaverbrooks is proud of their reputation for quality products, exceptional customer service, as well as their dedication to numerous charitable organisations.
Please remember that Beaverbrooks are seeking commercially viable propositions for consideration.
The Brief
This year, Beaverbrooks are inviting entrants to design a suite of jewellery that would seamlessly blend and complement their successful Essence range, enhancing the collection with the addition of birthstones. Please ensure for each suite a minimum of 3 designs are included.
The range is to symbolise the nature and ethos of ‘Essence’, where life’s moments through connection, hope, challenges and celebrations bring us together. Beaverbrooks are eager to see proposals which echo one or more of these sentiments, in concise, fun, relatable and easy to wear designs that offer added value to the Essence collection.
Precious or semi-precious stones can be used, with 9ct white and yellow mixed golds. Beaverbrooks encourage entrants to visit their store and/or peruse the range online to fully gauge the requirements of this brief.
Hand and CAD-rendered designs are all eligible.
Judges will be looking for:
Imaginative and creative outcomes, showing aesthetic appeal for the target market
Commercial awareness and potential
Suitability of proposed materials, processes and methods of manufacture

An Unmissable Opportunity
