Exclusively for entrants in the Polishing 3D Craft section.
The GC&DC is delighted to continue partnering with the Benevolent Society. This charitable society continues to support skills training and career development in the profession through this annual award. For the 2026-27 competition, the bursary will again be dedicated to the polishers section.
This will be for a structured course or learning directly from a Master that is tailored to increase, inform and strengthen traditional polishing techniques, processes and skills.
Expert industry judges in this section will also include a representative of The Benevolent Society, who will collectively select an appropriate entrant piece for this wonderful opportunity.
Polishing entrant work will only be eligible to apply for this bursary through the competition online application process.

For this bursary, entrants must comply with the following:
21 years of age (or over) on 1st September in the year of entry to the competition
Permanent UK resident
Entrant is currently working in or anticipates working in the allied trades covered by the British Allied Trades Federation when the course is completed
The candidate will complete an application form
