The College Trophy is sponsored by Special Patrons The Betts Group.
This annual award is given to the college or university that has achieved the highest total of points accumulated from any gold, silver and bronze prizes in the competition. This award is hotly contested between students and courses around the country, and we are delighted to be partnering with The Betts Group again who are providing several additional and exciting incentives for competing for this major and prestigious award.
Along with the high achievement and honour of securing The College Trophy, which will be presented by Betts at the 2023-24 Awards ceremony at Goldsmiths’ Hall, the following prizes will be rewarded:
The Winning College – will receive a GC&DC Gold Award certificate, 20 grams of SMO gold and 500 grams of AgAIN silver to make a student design/s of the course’s choice, and Betts tool vouchers to the value of £500
The Runner up – will receive a GC&DC Silver Award certificate, 250 grams of AgAIN silver for the course to use on student a specific project, and Betts tool vouchers to the value of £250
The Third place – will receive a GC&DC Bronze Certificate, 100 grams of AgAIN silver for the course to use on student project, and Betts tools vouchers to the value of £100
In liaison with the student/s, the resulting finished design/s are to be marketed and promoted by Betts using their SMO precious metals.
